Product Overview

A complete solution for trouble-free EHC operation with phosphate ester fluids. The FSA helps you avoid premature fluid replacement, bleed and feed routines, and expensive flushes by maintaining water, acid, ISO Code and resistivity, and by removing the gels and deposits that cause servo valve failure. It is ideal for steam turbine EHC fire resistant fluid maintenance.

ICB resin technology reduces acid number to as low as 0.03, with 4 to 8 times the capacity of other acid removal filters
Removes dissolved metal ions, reverses gel and deposit formation, and restores servo valve response time
Increases fluid resistivity to help prevent electro-kinetic corrosion and premature fluid replacement
Integrated TMR-N2 headspace dehydrator introduces nitrogen to remove water, oxygen and high temperature breakdown gases
VTM particulate filter removes insoluble oxidation by-products and water for low ISO Codes
Companion products cover the rest of the EHC system: Dynafuzz stainless filters, ECR color restoration, and VTM upgrades for existing low pressure filters

Nominal flow at 60 Hz motor speeds. Choose the model by reservoir size. TMR-N2 nitrogen use is under 1.2 SCFM on the FSA05 and FSA1, under 2.0 SCFM on the FSA2, and under 3.6 SCFM on the FSA4.

Fluid Compatibility

Maximum pump inlet pressure 15 psi (1 bar). Dimensions and weight are approximate for the base model, and the spill retention pan is standard size. The part number builder lists phosphate ester as not compatible with Skydrol.

Filtration Media

Every FSA pairs two media. VTM (β0.9[C] ≥ 4000) removes particulate, insoluble oxidation by-products and water. ICB ion charge bonding resin removes acids, gels and deposits, oxidation by-products and dissolved metal ions from phosphate ester and other synthetic fluids at a molecular level.
